NOTE TEE TIMES

 

· 3^rd Round pairings made by standings after the 2^nd Round.

· Partner’s better ball, no handicap. Hole out all putts for BB scoring.

· Pick up if / when out of a hole.

· Players must be 16 to participate.

 

· Please do not use cell phones in telephone mode on or around the host clubhouse or in public areas where host club members might be sensitive to their use. Checking messages on the course is normally OK as long as it does not slow play. 

· Appropriate golf attire dress code is in effect.

· Bermuda shorts/skorts  2” above the knee, no cargo pants, sleeveless shirts must have a collar. If you are not sure, don’t wear it.

· Please note: non-metal spikes are required on ALL member courses!

· $$ Please remember to pay your rep or host pro shop for your carts!

New process for Ties:

Ties for 1^st place in the Championship Division  and Buffalo Cup will be a 3 team total retrogression.

Compare the back nine total score (Holes 10-18). If there is still a tie then the last 6 holes (Holes 13-18) are used. If there is still a tie then the last 3 holes (Holes 10-12) are used. The final tiebreaker is hole 18, total of three scores for each team.

 

In the event of a tie for last place in the Championship Division, there will be a match of cards using 3 team retrogression. Compare the back nine total score (Holes 10-18). If there is still a tie then the last 6 holes (Holes 13-18) are used. If there is still a tie then the last 3 holes (Holes 10-12) are used. The final tiebreaker is hole 18, total of three scores for each team.

 

The losing team in Championship Division tie breaker will move on to the challenge match with the winning team from the Buffalo Cup.

¬ It is imperative that play moves with no gaps between groups.

¬ If your group is behind, get moving and pick-up when you are out of a hole.

¬ Proper scorecard below.

¬ Please circle  the player who takes each hole.

¬ Post your own team score on the WITGA Score Sheet after completion of play.   

¬ Challenge Round: June 19th @ OPCC.  8:00, 8:10, 8:20.  
Carts $25 - one check for $150.  HWH open, charge back.

You are to post your own team score and leave your signed card after play.

 

A note after round 2 for both divisions.
Several twosomes were lagging. If you have a problem on a hole and it puts your group
out of place...you need to move ahead and catch up. Don’t ride ball to ball together.
Split up, split the fairway, and play ready golf. There have been groups waiting
for close to ten minutes to hit into greens or to tee off. Captains, be aware of potential slower pairings.
